Advantage is, you do not have to struggle as much as you do with a tape. Aluminum foils are easy to use and protects from paint. Before you take off the foil to recycle, make sure the paint is completely dry.

Few rooms in the house are small and cramped. These rooms are often tending to be gloomy, but the look can be changed with simple tricks. Windows are the best source for natural light that removes the gloomy effect. Raise the window shades as much as possible to allow a good light. Clean the glass of the windows so that no dust or dirt acts as a blockage of light. At times the colors or the things that are dark in the room happen to make the room look gloomy or dull. Change the colors to any lite shade so that the gloominess is taken away quickly. You can apply the concept of light color usage on the tiles in the room or bathroom so that it gives a spacious room feel.

Holes due to hangers or nailing are not convenient to look at once they have been removed. Use spackle to cover them. Spackle is easily available at any home improvement depot and easy to use. Amount of spackle that is needed to fill the hole is proportional to the size of the hole. After applying spackle as given in instructions, let it dry and smooth the area with sandpaper or any rigid surface. You can paint the area after smoothing.

Bathroom is an important place that needs to be sanitized properly. Use bleach to clean the toilet bowl. True that bleach stinks, but it cleans the best. If you are uncomfortable with the regular bleach smell, use scented bleach. When the drain is clogged then you surely need a professional help and ask the cleaner the products they use and how safe they are, as some products tend to damage the pipes. If there is a damaged pipe or a major issue, then it is advised to hire a home remodeling contractor, who is professional in fixing the damage with caution and recover the affected areas.
